because the earth would fall of it's axis if the Red Sox or Yankees weren't in the top 5. ESPN would have no idea how to fill hours of programming if for one season both turned into the Devil Rays

I cant believe the amount of Bonds they have been filling their network with. Its unimaginable that they dont realize the vast numbers of time they give that putz. He's hated across the country so the "we are giving the people what they want" doesnt quite fit here... I dont get the facination ESPN has with the dope.

I'm seriously not trying to be a jerk, but why do you guys watch ESPN if it sucks so bad? It's an honest question. Are there some good things about it? I don't know; I haven't seen it (except at bars) for the better part of a decade.

The Yankees have won 5 straight and 11 of the last 14. If that's so-so I'll take it.

Just because the media goes nuts with them when it's sometimes undeserved doesn't mean they shouldn't get appropriate attention when it is deserved.

The show 'Bonds on Bonds' is produced by Barry Bonds himself. He pays for it, so it's basically his own private little propoganda show. I haven't checked, but I don't think it's getting very good ratings. For me, it doesn't even hold 'train wreck' fascination, so I've never seen it. :thumbdown

I didn't realize Bonds was paying for this show. And it doesn't seem like he has all that many endorsements. He's not Mr. Nike, or Mr. Pepsi, like Griffey was. Does he have any deals at all? Besides that ad he did for Balco?
