Help me work this trade out!
Ok,
I think I'm close to making a trade to helping my roster situation. I give: OF Brad Hawpe 1B Richie Sexson SP Kelvim Escobar RP Chris Ray I get: OF Carl Crawford SP Jeremy Bonderman What do you think? I need to clear two spots on my roster for when Rich Harden and John Patterson return. I could pick up SP Matt Cain and another player for the two open spots on my roster. I could use the SB's. I already have 3 other good closers (Papelbon, Gordon, and B.J. Ryan) so I don't need Ray that much. Escobar and Bonderman are pretty even, I think, but I'd take Bonderman by a nose. What do you think, good deal or not? Assuming Escobar and Bonderman are pretty close, that's Sexson, Hawpe and Ray for Crawford---that's a lot to give up, isn't it? Should I take Ray out and just make it Sexson, Hawpe and Escobar for Crawford and Bonderman?
