1-0 Bats on a Tatum RBI single.

Homer lines into an inning ending DP.

Bankston has an RBI single and Sutton is definitely swinging a hot bat right now 3-3 with 2 doubles.

    2-0 Bats.

    Homer is cruising along.

    Code:
Player	IP	H	R	ER	BB	SO	HR	ERA
    Bailey 6.0	4	0	0	0	6	0	3.44
    Pitches-strikes: Bailey 95-67 - 71%

Homer allows an infield single to load the bases with two outs. Robert Manuel is coming in to replace him.

Right now, Homer's line looks like this:

    6.2 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K...all seven hits were singles.

    Homer's last two starts:

    14.2 IP, 11 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 14 K

OBM's line for Homer is his final line. Manuel comes in to get the K to end the threat.

Well back from the Lookouts game. About 2 hour delay to start, that was fun. Alonso and Heisey continued to have a bad series at the plate. Obviously you saw that Cozart and Frazier had homers. Cozarts was a no-noubter, Frazier's didn't clear by that much.
Frazier's other hit was a infield single and he walked.

The player of the day was Travis Wood, I'd seen him several other times before, but he looks like a new man. Before watching him was frustrating as you'd say "just throw some strikes". His control today was stellar. Even when he missed it wasn't by much.

The other thing, (and this could be just my imagination) I thought there used to be a more pronounced difference between the speed on his fastball and changeup. It just seems there is less difference, and he can now control them.

I didn't see any other pitchers.

The other thing that has impressed me has been Franciso's defense. He may not have huge range, but he catches everything (even hard hit stuff) and his throws have always been spot on.

Stubbs just doubled and is 2-4. I'd call both him and Richar up tomorrow. Get some new blood up here. Stubs gives quality ABs.

Just noticed that a couple of guys playing for the Iron Pigs are ones who got a lot of attention on RZ in proposed trades last year: Jason Donald, SS, currently OPSing .610, and Lou Marson, C, .677. Looks like maybe we were lucky Arroyo didn't go to the Phils for these guys.

Yeah, but that's not all much different that what anyone should have expected from them anyways. They are both real light hitters and always have been.

Agree. Their numbers don't surprise me any.

I need to post about his slump more often.
