    i agree with you 100% We were better in July and August and they are better right now when it counts the most. They have more to play for than us right now but I don't see us just turning on a magical offensive switch.

    Dusty doesn't either. That is why he had the infield in during the first inning.

    the rest of the hitters on this team besides Navarro look just as bad right now. They deserve the same criticism

    Reds might want to play better than a AA team against these guys.

    It's very possible/likely they'll be back in St. Louis for the first two NLDS games.

    0-2 is a deep hole to dig out of, even for Drew Stubbs.

    Right now, yes that is the case. Atleastthe others helped carry the team through the season. The only thing Stubbs has done good at the plate all year was win us a few games in a Houston series in July. Other than that hes been worthless. I'll give him credit where credit is due on defense, there is no denying that, but your starting center fielder has to hit over .213.
