As usual....I'm wrong and the ump is right. How they get that so often astounds me. Heck of a play by Garcia to recover that quickly

I normally agree with this....but when his pitch count is this low it's not like his normal games.

Maybe it's because the ump is standing six inches from the base.

I don't expect 7 runs against the Cards with a pitcher like Garcia. But I think I'm entitled to three or four.
Garcia's ERA says you are not entitled to that many.

Don't confuse the situation with facts. Sheesh!

Using ones ears when you are feet away from the play really helps.

As a Reds fan, we're automatically entitled to see Garcia's ERA balloon to the stratosphere. Right? :O) Personally, I like that plan.

Reds are supposed to be better than average. Read the predictions thread, Reds are supposed to win over 90 games.

I think three or four runs against Jaime Garcia is a fair request.

You forget though that Garcia is a BOSS at home. These two games are a prime example of how good both starting pitching staffs are and you shouldn't expect a ton of runs.

Yeah, I know. But still I'm constantly amazed at how often they get calls right that just stun me.

And then there's the Phillips tag play that nobody could've possibly have gotten...except the camera man.

Ump behind the plate sucks. First pitch to Robinson was really low and he calls it a strike.

Every time we play in St. Louis I feel like the umps are homers. Dude missed the call on BP at second. BP was clearly safe.

Arroyo is actually pitching a gem. One bad pitch.

Garcia may be a good pitcher. But I don't see it. He benefits from the Reds swinging at alot of pitches out of the strike zone.

It's reasonable to hope for it. But to expect it is asking too much. I certainly don't think the Cards are entitled to 3 or 4 vs. Latos.

Garcia has some of the nastiest off speed stuff in the league and has been one of the top left handed pitchers in baseball when he's healthy. There's a reason for it. Now if they could fix his road woes, that would be great.

Disagree. He was safe...but far from "clearly". EVERY ump misses that call.
