there's a thread about this a little further down on the 1st page. He's had a rough year, with everyone getting healthy I can see why there is no room for him.

I looked at the date of the article, and then looked down the page to that date and didn't see anything on it. Had no idea this happened on Sunday.

He's been terrible for most of his career and especially the last 2 seasons. Never understood why they were using him as a closer. He gave away so many games. Terrible.

I wouldn't say he's been terrible, he is the Bat's all time leader in saves. He had 33 or so in 2008 making the AAA allstar's. Good Closer or not, he got paid to play baseball, that's pretty good in my book.
