Lohse knew he could ease up once he got past the 9 hole.

that right there is the reason we need a bat at the trade deadline.

And I am left wondering what that inning could have been with Frazier in the lineup.

Pastornicky has not been our SS since May, he has been in AAA converting in to a utility man. Simmons was called up and was excellent, but he got hurt Sunday and is out 6 weeks. Jack Wilson got hurt as well last night forcing us to start Prado at SS today. Janish will get a chance until Simmons gets back,

Redmond has nothing left to prove in AAA so I hope he gets a chance.

    Me too.

Just preposterous to toss 350 OPS points down the toilet with this lineup.

But Baker needs to play Rolen in order to get him to the mountaintop (for Rolen, an OPS of 0.600).

"We've got to play [Rolen] in order for him to get to the top of his game," Baker said. "But at the same time, I've got to be smart about trying to do what's best for Scottie and do what's best for us, too."

Quick poll.....people who use umbrellas at the game are perfectly reasonable or should be punched in the face?

And Frazier can play other positions. You can fit that bat in there somewhere.

Janish is gonna go straight to Atlanta, not their AAA team so it's a good trade for him.

Stubbs continues the Bakerian quest to never clog the bases.
