    That is hilarious!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Were that the Mets TV network, that might have been acceptable. Being the Cardinals network...a bit sad, actually.

Here's the sad thing, he's actually a really good prospect for the Cardinals. Number 91, Oscar Tavarez, hit .386 last year in Single-A and was ranked as the third best prospect for the Cardinals by Baseball America coming into this season.

What's even more impressive is he has only one arm.

You're absolutely right. Oscar Tavarez is a top 5 prospect for the Cardinals. The FSMW production all the way down to their broadcast team is a joke considering how historic the Cardinals are. While it is funny, it continues to remind me that if I want real coverage of Cardinals baseball, stick to KMOX.

I don't think they are on KMOX anymore. I might be wrong, but I thought they moved.

They went back a year or two ago.

They are back on there. Thank god because KTRS was horrible. The coverage was bad and that is a station that I could barely even hear in St. Louis. KMOX still has an amazing broadcasting range. When I moved to NY, I still was able to get some broadcasts on KMOX going into NY. Fadded away once I got to where I eventually lived but I was able to catch a Cards game most of my trip.

We can get KMOX here around Raleigh, NC on some clear evenings. I listened to those guys during the world series last year.
