    Proud of the pen tonight.

Halladay has been a monster but some of these AB's have been particularly sorry.

Agreed. Gomes and Cabrera are just overmatched at this level.

Reds just got Doc on his night. But it could be 0-0 if not for Volquez' pitiful performance. I didn't get home until the second inning, but I was watching gameday and saw 94-96 mph pitches and knew he was in trouble. That's why I was never in favor of starting him in the first game. We'll take our medicine and try to win 3 of the next 4, but I hope we don't see Edinson again except in relief.

We're the #1 offense in the NL. If it's happening to us tonight, it'd be happening to every other team in the NL.

Ibanez pops out to short. 4-0 Phils after 8. The bullpen was brilliant: 6.1 IP of 1 hit ball.

They've had bouts of inconsistency the whole year though.

Remember the Seattle series? I hope to God we aren't seeing a repeat of that.

Sure you give Halladay credit, but he wouldn't be no-hitting any other post-season team right now me thinks.

Cairo actually has decent career numbers against Halladay.
