Random thought. If they let the runner get to second on fielder's indifference, or whatever they call it, and he scores on a single, the run should be unearned. Why should the pitcher be penalized for that?

Yeah, I would just as soon call it a SB. It is advantageous for the runner to stay out of the double play. Your right though about the ERA title - but all the pitchers are playing with the same rules.
