Well, maybe they can push him into the Cardinal series.

And it was darn nice reading Hal again.

Hopefully this is nothing but it sure doesn't sound good.

Last week there was a story that Dusty was wanting to adjust the rotation a bit to reconfigure the games split for Hanigan and Mesoraco, but it's not clear to me why Kremcheck and the trainer would be in a meeting after the game. Plus Dusty's answer doesn't seem to indicate it was about adjusting the rotation.

    Could've been about Brandon Phillips.

It could be this. I'm also thinking it involves BP sitting and Votto needing a day off. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Votto has a day off today. Votto is tired, and we need him well rested in the STL series.

This leads you to believe it was about Cueto.

When the media did talk to Baker, somebody said, “Well, at least you’ve got Johnny Cueto pitching tomorrow.”

And Baker’s answer was, “Well, we’ll talk about that tomorrow.”

    Stay tuned.

I don't know, that seems like an awful lot of speculation, when you've got a couple other guys ailing at the same time.

No, that quote doesn't lead me to believe anything. There just isn't enough info to assume anything. Maybe there's something wrong with Cueto, maybe it's just about BP, maybe it's Gapper. Does anyone know how he's doing?

Baker's response could have just been "that's tomorrow's game, we'll talk about it tomorrow"

That's what I'm choosing to believe. I'm good at denial.

Gapper was mentioned in that Biogenesis scandal. He's out for the rest of the season.

    Now I'm sad.

Seriously, I think people might be getting carried away with speculations.
