Not really, this offense was built around defense first, I believe.

The offense we saw from 2000-2008, the one who could hit bombs all day long but could not play the field, was built for GABP. Just my opinion.

That must have been the 12-2 game. By the way, that is the last game we scored more than 5 runs.

You're right, but how did that work out for us?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    My prediction?

    Pain.

    (Unfortunately, for us.)

One "hit" through 5.1 innings against AJ Griffin. Amazing.

Homer Bailey currently has a 7.19 ERA against current playoff teams he's pitched against this year. (STL/PIT/ATL/OAK) in over 25 IP.

I just can't watch this anymore. Too frustrating. Not worth it.

When we're off ... wow are we off.

And he absolutely shut down the Giants down in Game 3 in the actual playoffs last year in what should have been a series clinching win.

Ludwick was really good for us last year too. He was talking about this year. It's certainly alarming that Bailey struggles every time out against good competition this season (so far at least).

He casually spit while being put in the cruiser -- he might not think it's a bad day
