Bubba sighting, for the first time in a while. Ball one to him. Up high, 2-0. Swings through one. Fails to check, 2-2. Fouled away. Another foul, dribbled at the plate. Whiff!

His real name is Richard, incidentally. I thought maybe it was Norm or something. He once slugged a Ruthian .828 in college for Rice. So he could hit at one time, at least.

    7-7 after 8.

Looks like he was TRYING instead of just reacting. Can't get a hit every time up. Just 50% of the time!
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

Glad to see Crosby strike out....don't want him earning a spot.

Gillespie left Tulsa for UTEP and then on to A&M so he's not affraid to make a move, but after what Tubby just went through why leave a good situation to go to a not so good one in Kentucky.

Top of 9. Dan Conway now catching for Cincinnati. Tyrell Godwin in LF. Deno moves to RF. Natural out.

Shawn Garrett leads off against Santos, in for a second inning.

He was overmatched (possibly guessing instead of like you said, reacting). It was a great pitch. Right where you always want to throw to a left-hander.

I hope Hamilton didn't hurt himself in that last at bat.
