Carolina leading 5-2 after 6 innings. Still no word on Alonso leaving the game.

Add that to his homerun from yesterday....and that's a good sign.

Dragons played a really nice game tonight. Good pitching, good offense, didn't make stupid mistakes. Tomorrow nights game is also on TV and the web just like tonight.

Thanks for the in game updates! Nice to be able to follow it with a little more detail. I was able to follow all 5 games in the organization tonight for at least 70% of each game thanks to you providing the Dayton PBP.

Balentien got off to an awful start but it wasn't really surprising considering he went nearly two weeks without playing in a game. He's probably just now getting his timing back.

Donnie Joseph is too good to still be in Dayton, IMO. His numbers so far this season: 11.1 IP, 5 H, 0 HR, 2 BB, 18 K, 0.79 ERA. I'd promote him to Lynchburg, and then if he continues pitching well there, send him to Carolina.

Interesting enough, Nick Christiani was promoted to Lynchburg today.

Yep, I saw that on Corey Brinn's twitter. Christiani pitched well in Dayton (14 IP, 2 BB/12 K, 3.86 ERA) but Joseph was more deserving of the promotion, IMO.

Joseph was nasty tonight. The pitch he threw to end the game with the strikeout was unhittable. Just dove towards the ground at the last minute.

Glad you appreciated it. I had the Reds and Dragons recording on my DVR so I was able to keep an eye on both and still be able to give detailed play by play. Since the Reds are scheduled for an afternoon game tomorrow, I should be able to do the same tomorrow for the Dragons.
