Cardinals are simply winners...can't argue it

While we are busy blowing 5-0 leads they are getting out if a 1st and 3rd no out jam to keep the game tied.

Yeah. That's how it's been the past decade... isn't going to change over night

    They'll lose in extra innings.

Speak of the devil, homerun by Lucroy. Salas is garbage.

Brewers homer. My jinx worked. Lets hope they can hold so we can remain only 2 back.

I honestly don't know how they win games. Their defense and bullpen are garbage. Also, their 3,4,5 guys are average. Yet they keep rolling along.

Their 3-4-5 guys are not "average". They are very good, not the best, but very good.

38 consecutive scoreless innings. SP that has been dominant for a week

Cards lose. We blew a great chance to get within one game.

Reds limp home from a 1-5 roadie. 10 straight at GABP, hopefully, will wake the team up. Phillies, Miami and the Cubs.

Miami and the Cubs are just what we need to get right.

The cardinals find a way to get a key hit in clutch situations because their role and stars stay within theirselves and just try to make contact and put the ball in play whereas ours swing from their heels for a home run and strike out with the exception of choo votto and Phillips sometimes. Be clutch. Be selective. Put the ball in play. It makes things happen

Simple really. They take advantage of RISP. The biggest and most glaring difference I have seen between the Cards and the Reds over the last decade is three things: getting guys on, RISP, and turing both into runs on the board.
