Ive been calling him 'the boss' for about a year now. To annoy my brother I go ask him 'Who's the boss?' all the time. He knows the answer.

I like "The Boss" -- too few players get nicknames that don't include some shortened form of their name included.

I'd also be in favor of henceforth referring to the Reds 1st round pick from this past year as "Groundhog"

I know Rosales started as an MI and has played some 1B, has he played any OF? Sounds like a kid that could make a decent 'SuperSub" if he's blocked at a regular position. Could also spell Votto in a year or two against tough lefties too I guess.

He's had a nice "comeback" season this after a rocky 06.

    Reds top 3 prospects

    1. Jay Bruce
    2. Johnny Cueto
    3. Joey Votto

Things are looking good for 2009 and beyond.

The M-Braves ran into a buzzsaw Friday. Chattanooga right-hander Johnny Cueto blanked them on three singles and struck out eight in six dominant innings before an announced 3,753 at Trustmark Park.

"He's pretty darn good," said M-Braves manager Phillip Wellman. "He might be one of the best we've seen."

I agree. I think he's a bench player who can contribute to the next decent Reds team. Valaika might be too.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

That's why I don't understand why some on here claim he will only be a good arm out of the bullpen for the Reds. I have not seen him pitch personally but his stats are much better than any other Reds pitching prospect in many years including Homer Bailey and no one thought he'd only be a decent bullpen guy. I see the guy getting a taste sometime next year and hopefully being a fixture in the rotation starting in 2009...
