The Cardinals won't win the division playing the way they have.

Beginning to root for the pirates here. Lets jump STL first.

I'm more worried about the Pirates winning the division than I am the Cardinals.

I'd prefer to move closer to 1st place and then worry about jumping over someone. Being 3 1/2 back after tonight, if things go correctly, is better than being 4 1/2 back. No offense, but the math is fairly simple. Obviously it jumbles a little when it gets down to St. Louis moving past Pittsburgh, but I'd still rather be one step closer. A Pirate loss today and tomorrow and our winning (fingers crossed) drops the magic number more.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to root against whoever's in first at any given time. Let them pogo it out while we climb. So tonight I want the Cards to win (I can barely type that, for real).
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Huge shift and big-time defensive play by Neil Walker to end STL threat in 8th.

    Bucs 3
    Cards 2
Rounding third and heading for home...

I have NEVER seen a 2nd baseman play 15 feet behind the dirt before! If he plays 14 its a hit,,,,,,OMG Marte dropped a can of corn!

Cards tie because of that error.

All 3 outs dramatically performed by the Card infield...all tough plays at 1B. Looks like they may win a RARE extra inning game. This would make TWO.

Pirates defense fails them again in the 10th. Cards with two on, no out.

MM gas gone bunt happy. Dumb to make the red hot Jay do it too. Will they squeeze?

The Nats are going to make a run at that last spot. I doubt they get there, but the Pirates better pick it up.

Cards have a runner on 3rd with one out game tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 11th.

6 games went extras so far today, with one still in the first 9.
