This.

The Bray home run was really bad. Your specilaist is supposed to come in and get one guy out, not give up a home run after the game Arroyo pitched.

When your genius manager gets owned by the other team changing the batter on your "specialist" it pretty much makes him look like a fool doesn't it?

Or he could have left Bronson in since they had absolutely nothing going.

Bray will get that out more often than not. Our offense is the only issue here.

Arroyo should of never been taken out...he was getting stronger...only pitched 94 pitches....to Arroyo thats like 54 pitches. Dusty blew through our bullpen on the 2 game of a 10 game road trip....nice.

It's decisions like this one that not only affects this game but the next 3 games.

Starting pitching hasn't been all that bad, minus Homer and Latos' first start. Let's see if Homer gets it together tomorrow...he's going to have to go deep, our pen are zombies right now. this loss has to be completely demoralizing. Hope someone takes control of the clubhouse...Votto looked pissed off tonight, so I imagine he'll have some choice words for these guys.

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that was Bronson's decision. Of course if he'd left Bronson in and Bronson had given up the HR, the same folks who are bashing Baker for taking Bronson out, would be bashing him for leaving Bronson in. In the meantime no one is blaming Baker for the obvious mistake: why was he messing around with the lefthanded Bray in the first play? Why not just bring in Logan to start the eighth?

This game showed a couple of things:

    1. Bray and Marshall aren't as good as everyone thinks.

    2. Simon isn't as bad as everyone thinks.

    3. If Simon hadn't thrown that wild pitch yesterday, the game would still be going on because the Reds were never going to score.

Agreed. We cannot expect our pitchers to be perfect every game. Even with these recent losses, if we had some offense, the pitchers would not be under such scrutiny. They should be praised for keeping us in most games. We MUST get some run production from this offense. (See my other Sun Deck post)

    Jesus.

I hate bringing the IF in....that was a routine MLB inning ending DP.

Who knocked in the run? Hats off to Bronson....hell of an effort.

Votto has to improve his running of the bases.

PH for Willie so you can bunt???...with Cozart???? Double derp.

Anyone worse than Stubbs?

Great bounce back by Simon!

Umpire at first was tremendous....guy at home sucked much bad

Ludwig got his pocket picked on the tag up to 3rd and then jumped about 2 inches on the tying HR

Suck me sideways.

I doubt it was Bronson's decision. Most pitchers aren't wired that way.....but Maddux used to do it....maybe Bronson did

Willie Harris can't bunt? I don't believe. Turns out it didn't matter with The Whiff Twins coming up.
