Final: Cards 6 - KC 3. Reds remain 1.5 games behind, but gain on Pirates who lost.

Amazing... I thought the Braves were right there with Texas, but I see now that the Bucs are only 1/2 game behind them!

I would bet money that no 3 teams EVER shared the MLB lead this deep into the season, but it could happen tomorro. Anybody know how to get that info?

September 10th, 2002. New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, and Atlanta Braves all shared the lead with 91 wins.

He didn't misunderstand, your question made no sense, as there is no way it could happen tomorrow. The Cardinals are 1.5 up on the Reds and 2.5 up on the Pirates.

It's a ways off but, it appears the Reds are going to miss Wainwright when the Cardinals roll into town in a few weeks. The current rotation has Lyons and Wacha sandwiched around Lynn. This is a series the Reds really need to win, just stay within a game or two until then and make a move. Yes, it's still just June but I'm tired of looking at St. Louis on top of the standings. The Reds have an off-day prior to that series starting so I can't begin to ponder the good guys rotation.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Yeah, OK...I did not mean equally shared. Meant hold the top 3 records at the same time. THAT can happen, Yes?

Watching LA vs LA and it's a heavyweight slugfest. Good chance the Dodgers stop that 8 gm winning streak of the Halos. Matt Kemp has looked just awful at the plate and dropped a ball that was in his glove in CF.

Dioner Navarro and Ryan Zimmerman each hit three HR's in games yesterday. It's only the 14th time in MLB history that two different players hit three HR's on the same day. Johnny Bench and Willie Greene of the Reds have done this in the past. Most have happened since 1996.

    Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013

KC has scored 3 in the 9th to lead the Cardinals 4-2, and are still batting. The George Brett magic?

The game has just been stopped because of rain in the top of 9th. Royals with bases loaded, no out, with 3 runs in. If this game is called because of rain, KC's 9th inning would be washed away, and the Cardinals would win the 8 inning game, 2-1. We'll see what happens.

Cardinals game thread is blowing up because Matheny brought in Boggs, then Marte to blow this game. For some reason he didn't bring in Mujica to close it out.

Royals plate 3 in the top of the 9th so far against Cards and rain suspends the game with bases loaded, Royals up 4-2, no outs.
