I made 4 or 5 attempts at watching, but gave up after the McCarver birthday cake scene. Buck didn't know it was "Timmy's" birthday after 18 years of working together and "Timmy" was offended because the cake was in a cardboard box. The announcing duos I can tolerate are apparently becoming fewer and fewer.
I just turn the sound down a little. It's good baseball. I just don't get bent out of shape about announcers.

Seems to have worked overall, but didn't help Prince Fielder much. That guy is on one seriously bad post-season stretch.

The Tigers are going to win it all in my opinion. The starting pitching is just too dominant.
I'd agree if games were only 7 or 8 innings. They've been terrible in the late innings.
My thoughts too. Their bullpen is inconsistent at best.

They had one (really) bad game against the Red Sox, but in the other games have been pretty solid.
Benoit allowed a run last night and had another runner stranded on third. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

I think they had some bad games against the A's, too, their bullpen ERA is 4.58 for the postseason so far. Still, it's only 19.2 innings, but they had a semi-shaky pen for much of the regular season, too. To be fair, so did the Red Sox, so who knows?

The Tigers at one point this season picked Papa Grande up off the street and immediately made him their closer again. I think that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the overall shape and depth of their bullpen.
