    Todd Frazier appreciation thread

I just thought I would make this because ever since he came up last year he's been absolutely fantastic for this team. I know his numbers right now are not sustainable, but he is just a nice story for this team because he's such a hard-working likeable player that cares more about the crest on his jersey than the name on his back (or so it seems).

Also, he can absolutely crush baseballs.

Not to brag (mainly to brag), I did not predict regression from Todd this season. You're all free to ask Todd's forgiveness and join me.

That homerun last night to the upper deck was CRUSHED. I couldn't believe that when I saw it.

Isn't the NL third baseman pool pretty weak? All Star is a possibility.

Frazier is a joy to watch. The man just loves to play baseball.

Me either. I recognized the possibility, but he just seems like the hard-working type that makes it work.

Spoke to some Angels today who were really impressed by the Reds' Todd Frazier; he's 11-for-22 so far this season.

Anyone want to be brave and venture a guess at what his season could look like?

    RBI: 87
    SB: 9

    AVG: .286
    OBP: .372

Yeah, one week shouldn't skew our expectations too much.

I have two fantasy teams this year. Frazier is on both. I had faith.

I agree and don't think that's so bad from a second year player. I like him a lot. He can mash the ball when he's hot. My hope is he doesn't cool off ever, but I think Doug is right.

Those would've been my numbers for him this year before it started. And I think that is still a pretty good 3rd baseman.

But, he's been so white hot that even if he hits that way the rest of the year his overall numbers will be a little higher.

Considering he has good power, is playing in GABP, and it hasn't heated up yet, I think he might have more power than I thought, so I would alter it a little.

He's hot and he hasn't even started throwing his bat at the ball yet.
