    I saw the thread title and thought this would be pictures of the Cubs winning the Series.

    here is a pic of The Cubs in 1908

    And in picture from the 08 series- Ty Cobb hitting a triple.




    Also must refrain from joke about Hitler and the picture in first post.

    That's Fort Pulaski, in Georgia. I visited there two summers ago on a trip to Tybee Island.
    The old fort and the field of play are still there.

    I was thinking the same. I grew up in Savannah and have been a few dozen times (regular stop on the school field trip circuit). I wasn't sure if the fort look was a standard look from the time though.
