    Frazier grounds out to short
    Valdez walks
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

We should be POUNDING Wells. We keep just missing dingers. Frustrating.

Yup. Dude is awful. And it especially hurts since the Padres offense is crushing Bronson.

Arroyo grounds out to third. He's no Kip Wells.

    4-3 Padres after 4.

Just HORRIBLE mechanics from Baker. I've seen him move his body AWAY from the ball numerous times and just reach for it. Completely the opposite of what he SHOULD be doing. If he gets any consistent playing time there's going to be a passed ball-fest in SD.

Gotta wonder what happened to our starters. This is horrible.

Not really. Just some pretty poor luck. Lots of seeing eye singles the past few games.

They looked bad the first rotation through after the AS break. Hopefully, they will get it out of their system and the offense can score a bunch of runs.

Not bad luck. Regression. All of our starters with the exception of Latos were/are due for it.
