Pedro Viola recorded the save in Chattanooga's 2-1 win with two innings of scoreless ball while striking out two.

Brandon Waring just went deep again. Thats 11 in his last 12 games. 19 on the season. Unreal.

Oh, Warings HR gave Billings a 5-2 lead in the 7th.

Unbelievable. That is literally the only word you can say for it.

Good grief. IIRC that ties Bobby Mosby's single season HR record by a Billings player.

You do indeed recall correctly OBM. The Pioneer League record is 23.

Interesting thing I just noticed on Waring is that he is really struggling versus LHP. Pretty amazing that he's doing this almost entirely against same side pitching.

    On Bailey:
5+ innings and 10 baserunners looks ugly, but the three walks were all in the one inning which he danced out of.
Really all in all a pretty decent effort wouldn't you guys say?

Without watching the game, he had 1 bad inning in the second where his control wasn't there, and there was no reason he should have come out for the 6th, but he did. Ive said it before and I will say it again though, at the end of the day, as long as his arm isn't hurt, I am not worried about his rehab results.

Brandon Waring walks in his next PA. Slacker. Chuck Norris would have homered again.

Yeah, but Chuck would have used his leg to roundhouse the ball out.

I would imagine Bailey will start in AAA next year. I would like him to be in the Reds rotation, but I would think he needs some more work in AAA.

I would let him compete in spring training, if he beats out the competition I would let him earn his way onto the team. No sense in jacking him around...no more babying him. I could care less what numbers he puts up in his rehab assignments, they mean very little. He may still get a september call up.
