    Re: Postseason Scoreboard Watching

The Giants' bats had to show up at home eventually. And, in typical Giants fashion, it's the weak ends of the order picking up the slack. Posey, Pence, and Sandoval still all hitting .143 in the postseason. Sigh...

Another thing of note is that VogelTRON has finally given SF their first quality start of the playoffs. 6 games and not one quality start prior to this gem. Pretty darn tardy for a team built on pitching.

I expect the middle of the order to pick it up in STL. The Giants are remarkably better at scoring runs on the road. AT&T Park is an absolute abyss for lumber.

    Karma baby!

The Giants with the most breaks on the game of inches now....Holliday may have just bit off more than he can handle.

I wish Bochy pulled Bumgarner earlier than after he gave up 6 runs. Since he got pulled the Giants are up 11-1 overall despite all the Cards diving run saving plays on defense and have out hit them 19-4.

    Here's a fact...

Beltran has a .875 OPS over his last 1,217 PA and .856 over his last 8,349 PA.

You really think his last 80 games are more indicative of his talent level than his previous 1,840 games?

Because he seems genuinely interested in stats, which I respect a great deal. He simply needs to understand how they work.

Curious as to why HometownHero hasn't gone on a "luck" diatribe about the blown call at 1B...

When he's 35.5 years old and banged up its starting to get closer to the norm than what he did in his prime.

Flame? Just shocked he's not freaking out about the team beating the Reds out of the playoffs getting a lucky call.
