I was only using the examples as given.

I have many issues with Dusty, but I don't think I've complained about the so call vet love.

Tough break for Ryan Ludwick, who undergoes shoulder surgery Wed and will be out three months. #Reds expected to call up Derrick Robinson.

By the way, if Rick Ankiel is the answer, I don't want to know the question.

    Should we send flowers?

That would actually be kind of nice.

I know how you feel. I had one once, but it was so long ago I forgot what it was.

Re: Ludwick to 15 day DL

Someone local (IE someone that isn't me), needs to send flowers.

    I nominate Chip.

If it's 3 months he could potentially be back by the all star break.

I wasn't talking about pitchers. Votto is immune. Heisey has failed to live up to his potential. Bruce, according to this thread, has failed to live up to his potential, though, I feel he's a Superstar and will exceed .940 in OPS this season. (If it wasn't for Baker, Chapman would be preparing to face 700+ batters per year instead of 250.)

    1. Good hustle by Ludwick but why the head first slide.

    2. Hamilton isn't going anywhere until he starts hitting.

    3. Walt isn't going to trade for Ankiel or anyone else.

    4. The answer to the question is Xavier Paul. Baker as always will keep Heisy on a short leash, as he should. When Heisy fails, Paul will platoon with him.

Baker can't really like hearing that when he reportedly discourages head-first slides.
He could have slid feet first and broken or sprained an ankle. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Re: Ludwick to 15 day DL

Maybe Dusty ought to put some of the other Reds on the short leash that he kkeps Heisey on. Bruce maybe?
