Ludwick has been hot but I like having the more patient Schumaker against Volquez.
Just one man's humble opinion. Now I shall wait for Raisor to show up to see if my opinion is correct......

Wondering about Skip but Luddy is just 2/13 off of Volquez while Skip is 4/16 with 3 doubles......even Heisey was a better choice as he is 2/4 with a double and a triple off of the former Red.
with the day game thursday it's not a bad idea to give ludwick the night off.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.
Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008
Raisor (06-18-2014)
I just wonder how much wear and tear him playing LF and running the bases a couple times takes on him. He's not a spring chicken but he also has had a decent bit of rest this season. I like sitting him because he's 2/13 more than because of a day game tomorrow....but coupled together it's certainly a good fit.
good chance of storms late in the game
Comparing Skip to Luddy at the plate: Lud is the much more dangerous of the two.
Billy struck out
Frazier grounded out to third
Votto walked
BP popped up to shallow center
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Nice try by BP
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Marte singled and stole second, but the Reds flash the leather on D and Simon escapes the inning unscathed.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Dusty Baker used to rest Ludwick quite often. When Ludwick was healthy he'd normally play two out of the three in a series.
I think picking the right match ups for Ludwick will really help him, it certainly seems to be working so far.
Absolutely love watching this team defensively.
