Bengals lead is down to one game as the Ravens win on a 61 yard FG by Tucker who never misses. Bengals need a win versus Minnesota and a New England win over Baltimore. Otherwise the whole division comes down to week 17 against Baltimore.

The two overtime losses to the Dolphins and Ravens may end up dooming the year. If all those teams finish 10-6 the Bengals are the odd team out due to the losses to the other two teams.

In other words, Bengals are still in the drivers seat but barely. If the Ravens win their final 2 games, they win the division however.

Just about everything that could have gone wrong went wrong for the Bengals this week.

Home games against the Vikings and Ravens. Win both and you're in (w/ a chance at the 2 seed). If the Bengals miss out, it's they're only fault.

Another Cincinnati collapse down the stretch?

    We'll soon find out.

Bengals are not going to collapse.

Jim Schwartz may be the worst coach in the league.

I'd take Dalton over Stafford every day of the week

At this point, all it will take for a Bengals collapse (no postseason) is

    1) Balt wins at NE
    2) Balt wins at home vs Cin
    3) Mia wins vs Buf or Jets

I would bet slighty in favor of the Bengals making the playoffs, but I wouldn't go so far as to rule out missing them.

I know one year has nothing to do with another, but for the past two plus decades it's what teams from this city (heck, this state) do.

    Cough. Cough.

As for Schwartz, his stud receiver turning into Braylon Edwards and a kicker knocking one from 61 can't be all on him. Got to admit, that was a Bengal/Brown kind of loss. Maybe it was the fact that the Bengals needed Lions to win that infected them. Strange.

His reign of holding that title is only gonna last another 14 days or so.

Minor correction to make us more nervous...The Ravens/Pats game is in Baltimore, where the Ravens are 6-1.
