Have you ever checked out "It's All About the Pentiums"? I laughed out loud at least 3 or 4 times when I first heard it.
You think your Commodore 64 is really neat-o
What kind of chip you got in there, a Dorito?
I'm down with Bill Gates, I call him Money for short
I phone him up at home, and I make him do my tech support.
Hey fella, I bet you're still livin in your parents' cellar
Downloadin pictures of Sarah Michelle Gellar
And postin "Me too!" like some brain-dead AOL-er
I should do the world a favor and cap you like Old Yeller
You're just about as useless as jpegs to Helen Keller
They call me the king of the spreadsheets
Got 'em printed out on my bedsheets
Play me online? Well, you know that I'll beat you
If I ever meet you, I'll control-alt-delete you
What? What? What? What? What?

I've seen a couple newer artists covering this song...and doing it well. Rufus Wainwright has a very good version, and I know that Fiona Apple has done it as well.
My favorite overlooked Elvis Costello song is "Shipbuilding", which may well be the ONLY song about the Falkland Islands War of 1982. I believe this song was also in the movie High Fidelity.

I always liked that song too. The story behind it (according to Paul) was that he has always been a very organized person and needs to have things well laid out and planned - nothing spur of the moment, no surprises.
Linda use to tell Paul - "Lets get in the car, loosen up, leave it all behind for a bit, and take a drive to nowhere."
Paul said that always scared him not knowing or having everything planned/laid out.
Thus came the song and the lyric..... "Two of us riding nowhere"
