Im thinking they need to shut him down for 2 weeks. About 3 weeks ago he was quoted as saying he had a tired arm but knew that he had to pitch through it. I think maybe the Reds need to give him some time off and let him come back strong.

I saw you make a very positive post about the farm system in the ORG last night. I'm not going to lie, it startled me a bit.

I haven't seen anything about it online, and considering Dickerson isn't playing either I think it's just a day off for both. Both of them are listed on the Bats bench.

Well, FCB said the system was totally barren, I told him he was wrong. That doesn't mean it is humming at full strength. To many pitchers recently have been underperforming. Lecure,Wood and now Fisher have to be on that list. Though at least Wood has a decent excuse as muscle imflammation bothers command and stamina but keeps stuff intact. Only 44 innings so far this year isn't a lot and hopefully he regains his health. Lecure has been up,down and injured.

Only Cueto has been making a move lately, Watson's push has also been stalled. Thompson is still trying to adapt to high A. The low A guys are not overly impressive and Gonzo is looking more like a bullpen conversion guy each start. Ugly work by those guys.

I have a theory, it goes like this:

Chris Valaika and Justin Turner are still in Dayton because the Reds don't want to hurt Drew Stubbs' feelings.

    Thoughts?

They should both be is Sarasota. If you look at the stats of the guy's in front of them, it should be a no brainer. They are 50+ points higher in average. Valaika is 3rd in the MWL in RBI's and Turner is 4th in hits. They were both MWL all-stars. I don't know what they could waiting for.

In the bottom of 8th Jay Bruce drills a 2 run home run to straight away center. Chattanooga losing 10-5 going to top of 9 . Homer was Jay's 4th in 11 games with the Lookouts and 2 rbi's give him 12 in those 11 games , is 1-3 the homer and a walk tonight.

Nice to see Jay Bruce homer. He's been slumping over the last three or four games.

Big nights for some of the guys in Dayton. Drew Stubbs is 3-for-5 with three singles and a walk. Justin Turner is 2-for-3 with two singles and two walks. Chris Valaika is 1-for-3 with his 10th homerun and two walks. Juan Francisco is 4-for-5 with a double and three singles.

I would do what they did for Arroyo, push him back some days not weeks, he's got to be tested. He wont get 3 weeks at the big league level.

Could Votto be on the way to the Allstar games?
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
