Can Leake at least give us 5 innings?

No. Don't get "used to it". This isn't the normal Mike Leake. He's really struggling with his control. He's normally a 2-1 strike to ball ratio kind of guy. 24 strikes, 20 balls right now. Yeah, that's not normal.

    Mike Leake sucks.

But I do think it's kinda cool that the Kings of Leon now make up the heart of the Nats batting order.

If Leake can go 5 innings and keep them under 5 runs, I'll be happy.

Getting hammered by the opposition is pretty much "normal Mike Leake", sadly.

@ GABP... I'm sure this been answered before but has Hanny ever caught Leake?

I love Mes as a prospect, but the difference between his and Hanigan's receiving ability is like night and day right now. The problem is that only experience and playing time will improve that.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Now come on Tom. You may not like the guy, but that's not true and you know it. Yes, he was worse last year than the previous. But he was far from "bad".

What's normal for Leake is not getting batters out and surrendering a lot of runs. This is cookie-cutter Leake. He's not good.
