If the Reds keep this up,I don't see him making it past the middle of May.

Bob loves him.....not going anywhere
Can you give evidence the team would be better with another manager?
His name by the way is Dusty, guess you will someday respect the man, come to think of it, if 2010 did not win you over nothing will
Haters always will hate
2010 proved nothing. We were absolutely dominated by the Phillies. We had the second worst offensive performance in post-season history. Judging from what's transpired since then, the 2010 regular season was a fluke. This offense has even more experience and has yet to perform like they did that year.
This team is far more talented than the level they play at. Their approach at the plate is awful and it shows. We're averaging a little over 2 runs a game and that's without being shut out once.
Dusty will be gone by at least July 9th. Bob didn't spend all this money to watch this team under perform. They're coddled and too comfortable. Someone needs to light a fire under their ass. Dusty is too soft.

If his entire staff isn't fired, nothing will change.
The Hunt for a Reds October.
Dusty needs to do a little firing himself...get rid of Brook Jacoby and make Billy Hatcher the hitting coach and get anyone in place of Bryan Price...this pitching staff has too much talent to be pitching this terrible! And if that don't work...somebody off Bud Selig so we can get #14 reinstated!
Pitching has been pretty good, except for Latos and Bailey's first inning. We've faced three good teams and played multiple games against Reyes, Stanton, Ramirez, Furcal, Freese, Holliday and Berkman and our starters ERAs are:
Cueto : 1.89
Latos : 8.22
Arroyo : 2.63
Bailey : 5.40
Leake : 5.84
Average of 4.62 right now. Our whole rotation has pitched better than that. Numbers are deceiving in April. Outside Cueto and Arroyo they are high. But Bailey and Leake have both pitched much better than their ERAs. Latos is a sloooow starter. He generally does horrible in April, great in May and September and above average the rest of the time. He'll come around. He's horrible against the Cardinals though.
Average Pen era is 4.27. And that's with Bray holding them down (with a 13.50 ERA) while hardly up to speed and without Masset. Pitching is doing just fine, and right now we're smack dab in the middle of the league.
Hitting on the other hand...the only team with worse bats right now are the Pirates. And we faced the current best rotation in the majors in the Nationals and the top of the Cardinals rotation twice. We'll be ok.
If there is one thing that the Votto and (especially) the Phillips extensions proved to me, it's that Twin Peaks BOB may not be the most rational man.
So if my prediction for this team...15 games out in August (which seems overly optimistic at this point)....and drawing 8-10 thousand a game.....comes to pass, I half expect Castellini to reward Baker wth a 5-year extension.
Not many managers can win when their team only scores 1 run a game.
I just don't see what firing Dusty accomplishes. We needed a lineup change and we got it. This team just needs to hitter better with runners on.
