    It's not over.

By the Jets scoring, technically they gave the Pats another chance.

I told you guys that Peyton played very well against the Jets. I really thought that Brady, Belichick and Co. would have figured out Ryan's D though. I think the Steelers play Jets football but the Steelers are better at it than the Jets are. Of course I thought the Pats would beat the Jets so what do I know?

    Worst. AFC. Matchup. Ever.

Go NFC in the Superbowl....whichever team gets there.

    That's no lie.

Would it be inappropriate to root for the Plague to infect the Jets-Steelers game next Sunday?

i hate both the steelers and jets but i respect the steelers more for their continued excellence and model organization so i'll root for the steelers to lose in the SB to GB, another top notch organization that has continued excellence for many years. just sux the Patriots couldnt win it all.

Not at all...though it didn't work with the game at Heinz Field yesterday for me.

I am stunned that the Jets defeated the Patriots. I had expected the Packers, Bears and Steelers to all win, but in each case I wouldn't have been shocked by an upset. The one game I figured was a lock was New England de-feeting the Jets. Wow.

Wow, I don't even want to watch the AFC Championship game now. My most hated team in all of sports, the Steelers, vs the Jets and their bandwagon/come-out-of-the-woodwork fanbase (if you guys lived where I live, you'd understand this one). Just a terrible scenario, and I have to root for the Jets now. But only for one game. Then I'm all NFC! Go Pack, and Go Bears!

I'm seeing it with the Steelers. All of the sudden all these people I've known for long time are Steelers fans. Never mentioned it before though.

I am rooting for anyone but the Steelers at this point. Steelers fans as a whole tend to be the most obnoxious fans I have run into and they get worse with every championship they win.

Re: NFL Playoffs: Who Are You Rooting For?

The Steelers have one of the best organizations in any sport. I loathe their fan base, but rooting for Pittsburgh this Sunday. No reason to respect the NYJ when all they do is talk and they've done nothing.

Then, I'll be rooting for the NFC no matter what.

They're the best run franchise in the NFL (and arguably, next to the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers, the best run franchise in all of professional sports) -- you'll get that with any team that has prolonged success.
