    Which SP are you selling?

Need power desperately and am willing to deal one arm. Who should it be?

    Hamels
    E Santana
    McGowan
    Verlander
    Danks
    Lester
    Parra

I think Verlander and Hamels are pretty legit and Danks and McGowan seem impressive to me, I don't know much about Parra and have never seen him pitch.

    I would probably say Santana.

    Who should I be selling?

    Edinson Volquez
    Josh Beckett
    Aaron Harang
    Matt Garza
    Jon Lester
    Jonathan Sanchez

Wow, I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to target some HR/RBI production, but I'm pitching-heavy right now.

I'd like to target HanRam or Rollins in return for some of my pitching, and possibly package one of my light-hitting middle infielders of Theriot or Polanco.

Preferably, I'd like to sell Volquez while his value is high. I just don't see him repeating his 1st half success in the 2nd half. Harden is another one I'd think about selling while he's healthy. He's due to break down again at some point this year.

    Volquez
    Harang
    Hamels
    Galarraga
    Harden
    Kuroda
    F. Cordero
    Street
    Papelbon
    JP Howell

I'd see if you could deal Lester, then pick up Buchholz as a potential replacement (if he's available).

    How about this...

    Volquez
    Oswalt
    Lester
    Greinke
    McGowan

I'd love to sell Volquez, but don't know what kind of value I can get for him since no one wants to buy the top. Who would be the next to go off this list?

Selling Wins is always a good idea...

So after that deal, I traded Brian Wilson for Matt Cain and now picked up Clay Buchholz and Broxton last night. My team was floundering and now I think I have made true headway over the last week.

    Here are my latest transactions:

    Lost to DL: Capps/McGowan
Traded (cumulative): Ichiro, Ervin Santana, Brian Wilson
Added (via trade): Adrian Gonzalez, Posada, Mike Gonzalez, Cain
Added (via waivers): Buchholz and Broxton

    Latest roster:

    C: Posada
    1B: Gonzalez
    2B: Pedroia
    3B: ARod
    SS: Tejada
    CI: Votto
    MI: Kent/Hall
    OF: Manny
    OF: Ankiel
    OF: Kemp
    OF: Ethier
    OF: Thames
    U: Conor Jax
    U: Kotchman
P (start any 9): Hamels, Verlander, Danks, Cain, Lester, Parra, Buchholz, Broxton, M Gonzalez, Kobayashi, Torres, Zumaya

I'm still thinking of either upgrading one of my relievers (have a guy who wants Ankiel/Torres for Papelbon, but I want to give Kotchman or Jackson) or dealing one of my bigger starters for a big bat and lesser pitcher.

    Thoughts?

I'd do Ankiel/Torres for Papelbon in a heartbeat. The Brewers are going to trade for a closer soon, thus rendering Torres valueless (see Rauch, Jon).

I'd also deal Marcus Thames asap. Maybe package him with Torres if you're that high on Ankiel.

Monday afternoon I made a last minute deal...Thames for Mauer. The guy had Mauer and Pierzynski on the team and could obviously deal one.

Now...I have 4 closers. Koby (Cleveland), Torres, Brox and M Gonzalez. Who should I deal for a bat or SP? I agree with the Big Lebo, Torres is my first choice outside of Koby. But I have no bites.

I would move Broxton next. You're likely to get some very good production out of Gonzo. I don't think you're going to see too much interest in Kobayashi.
