Hanigan has thrown out over 40% of baserunners this year.... so I doubt he has a weak arm. The fact that Andrew McCutchen stole home tells me Pettyjohn is slow to the plate, big time.

The Bruce just hit an RBI single. 2-4 on the night.

He's 32 years old so he's really nothing more than AAA fodder.

Bruce is 2-4 with an RBI.

2-4 with only 1 run batted in. People wonder why he is still in Louisville. He is rated the number 1 minor league player in the land by BA, a couple 2-4 nights are exceptable but when a 2-4 in the norm and a 4-4 is only occasioanal I just don't think he needs to be #1 on BA's list anymore, I'm sure he'll be a solid major leaguer, maybe a Brain Giles in his day but this oberprospect talk needs to stop. 2-4 again? Wow.

Todd Frazier is 0-for-3 with a walk.

    Francisco: 2-for-4 double
    Stubbs: 1-for-3 walk
    Heisey: 0-for-0 four walks

Totally. When brings his season average to about 600...at least. Then maybe we can talk about him being ready. This 2-4 has got to stop. He's slumping again.

His line drives are bouncing twice before they reach the fielder. They need to bounce only once. His home runs are too many of the pull variety. He's not rounding the bases well enough.

Sorry Blue...I tried to indicate with my "" that my post was supposed to be dripping with sarcasm.

Every time, every game I look up this Bruce guy he has some hits.

Perhaps we should only list the nights he doesn't hit to make it interesting.

Of his 44 games this year I wonder how few of those he actually went without a hit?

    164 AB .366 BA. .394 OBP .665 SLG. 1.059 OPS.
    60 hits 109 TB

60/164=0.366 projects to 220 hits in 600 AB

If I did not make an error.

    Bruce has 21 multi-hit games
9 games with no hits, 3 games with pinch hit roles, 2 with no hit, one walk
longest without a hit, 3 games

Shane you may have a point honestly . but the guy going 2-4 and your denigrating that is just embarrassing.
