I encourage everyone to come up with some questions. This will be my first one, and if it goes well, I'll add more.
Since 1970, Chris Welsh, Pete Schourek, and Bronson Arroyo are the only Reds pitchers to have this in common. What is it?

does it have something to do with batting, rather than pitching
More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
They wouldn't be the only ones to hit home runs would they?
They hit home run in their first starts for the Reds?

Here's a question: In 1987, one Reds pitcher went 10.2 innings without giving up a hit, but did not get credit for a no-hitter. Who was he?
John Franco, spread out over his first 11 appearances.

I noticed that Tony Cloninger just posted in a different thread, so I'll say that this is something Tony Cloninger has done as well.
Excellent question.
I consider myself a Reds-Trivia geek that would draw the respect of any Star Wars/Trek geek or any gaming geek. And, I am completely stumped.
I was, however, delighted to find through simple research on retrosheet that Pete Schourek's two career home runs were against Pedro Martinez and Curt Schilling.
