"And This One Belongs To The Reds." A complete game by Arroyo gives the Bullpen a much needed night off.

6-3 homestand. Given the 1-2 start, that's, well, pretty awesome.

Puts them over.500 at home on the season for the first time as well.

Bronson has pitched some fabulous baseball and tonight was a joy to watch. I'd still like to see what he'd bring on the trade market. I know... I'm a horrible person.

Good warm-up session for Arroyo, surely he can pitch Friday too.

2:10 that is going to surely be in the top 5 for quickest games in this day and age.

Cecil Cooper is on the top of my "next to be fired" list. The Astros were hack-o-matic, looking like they just wanted to get out of town as quickly as possible.

Bruce, boy it would be a big boost to our fortunes on the upcoming roadtrip if he was heating up. You knew when he showed the warning track power on shots this weekend that he was getting close. Let's hope he can sustain a hot streak at just the right time.

One of the things that was fun about this sweep is that after 3 batters on Monday, Berkman had struck again, Wandy Rodriguez was on the mound to own us, and Brantley and Brenneman were attempting to make a story of the Ghosts of Astros Past.

Then we dropped a five spot on Wandy, and the ghosts quickly vanished. A very fun three days of baseball.

And with the off day, the bullpen will be extremely well rested for the road trip. Awesome stuff from Arroyo today! I still can't believe only Halladay has more W's since his Toronto massacre.

I was wondering: is this the first Reds' sweep of the Astros since 99?

Did anyone even throw in our bullpen last night or was it quiet?

I can't imagine that the phone ever rang in the bullpen, unless it was to see if they needed anything--pizza, beer, peanuts, slippers.
