    Maybe Duncan stays as manager. OTOH, Francona would be a great fit there.

    The general sentiment is that Duncan (especially with his wife) will be leaving. Will be interesting to see who the replacement(s) are.

    We'll see if the Cardinals agree: They're interviewing Francona today. I always liked Francona in Boston, but it would be hard to root for him if he signs on with the Cards.

    I think you're right that he's a good fit, though. Given the experience he has managing outright superstars (Ortiz, AGon, etc.) and ego-driven maniacs (like Manny), it seems he'd be ready to take on a Cardinals team with its own superstarss (like Pujols) and ego-driven maniacs (like Carpenter).
