Who would have thunk the pitching, or how it's handled would become our Achilles heel? Meanwhile, the Bucs and Cardinals are wining big. Did we really have a 4 game lead?

The meaning was not materially changed by your response.

As an auditor, my statement was not significantly wrong, which is all that matters. The users of my statement should have been able to read between the lines (although I admit that I forgot Bray pitched in the majors this year - obviously)

Mesoraco had a poor at bat. It may have been a ball, but it was very close. Mes fouled off some pitches that were clearly balls. Suddenly, on that one, he froze.

Have to hit the fly ball there, kid.

And Walt, THAT is why you need lefties on your team. No way Todd Frazier was the man for that spot. THAT's why managers use lefty/righty matchups in the late innings.

4 games don't constitute an Achilles heel.

They were due for a correction, but it's all coming together at a bad time.

I'm just frustrated because the Reds should have had those first two games against the Tribe, and they didn't. It is what it is. But now they could really use a W coming off the sweep, and they can't hit the Twins terrible pitching and can't get out their typically punchless hitters.

Plouffe strikes out looking. Just like Mesoraco's pitch it was outside.

Thanks Bob. I don't think that was a strike either.

Doumit with an infield hit off the glove of LeCure. 4 hits for Doumit.
