Votto and Edwin

I think this deserved it's own thread.

Joey Votto is starting in LF for the Bats today.
Edwin just commited another error.

It will be interesting to see if Votto stays in LF, and if they move Edwin to 1st base.

The only wy Votto sees left field is if Dunn is moved, and the only reason Dunn is moved is because his defensive ability is not up to Krivsky's standards. And if that happens, then I'm willing to bet Krivsky wants no part of Votto in left field.

In regards to EE, I don't think his defense is improving at all. I hav not been impressed with it all year. I still want him in the major league line-up because of the offense he offers, but knowing Krivsky's MO, I see him being traded if the defense continues to falter rather than a move to first.

While I am NOT advocating trading EdE, as I think he's going to be a guy we should build around, I will say that I have heard the above quote around here about someone else who got traded a year back or so....coughWilyMocough....
