Yes he can, and I'm sure he DID see that. However his pen is short today by a considerable amount, Logan had 2 outs already and only needed one pop out, ground out or something. His other option was this guy. Do you see Parra as an improvement?

Do we know if Chapman is unavailable today?

It might explain why Hoover wasn't brought in, if he's the closer.

REDS just want to make it exciting as REDS' home fans have too high of expectations with their 18-6 home record, thinking every game should be a 10-0 victory.

The worse part of Marshall back on the DL was the fact Parra came off the DL to take his roster spot

Parra should not pitch in any game that is closer that 4 runs

3 run lead...when SHOULD you use him? He's been solid. Period. Flat out SOLID. The choices were him, Parra or Simon. You pick.

They thought Price could work his magic on Parra. It has not worked yet.

This is all because Marshall can't read a calendar. Can't figure out that spring training was longer this year because of the WBC.

For all the poo-pooing we've done towards Cards fans about their bullpen woes, I think it's high time some of us recognize on here and our bullpen is probably even worse off.

Parra WAS warming up. He was warming up since the start of the inning. Not after a hit or anything. From the get go.

Well, you see the Soriano homer from Ondrusek coming to tie it up when he was struggling with his command. With so few threats in the Cubs line-up, I would just walked Soriano but that's me.

    It's spelled "frustrating".

I see everything. Dusty was asleep at the wheel as usual.

Kyuji Fujikawa in to pitch. Sweeney stays in to play right
