    Yunel Escobar

The Braves are said to be interested in Rafael Furcal and maybe looking to trade Yunel Escobar. If this is truely the case The Reds should be all over this! I'm not one for trading away pitching but in this case I would be willing.

The Braves have had interest in Bronson Arroyo in the past. What do you think it would take to get Escobar from the Braves?

Somebody here said that since they traded Lillibridge, dealing Escobar wouldn't be likely, but I guess if they sign Furcal, it could make sense.

Your right but if they really are shopping him why isn't there a buzz. Is there something I don't know about Escobar that is keeping teams looking for SS help away?

    Heres a link

I hope we don't deal Bronson. I know you need to give up talent to get talent, but I hate giving up pitching. We have made the move towards pitching and defense, and even though we may need a ss I don't want to give up pitching to get it.

Heres another link. It says the Cardinals and Royals have expressed interest in Escobar but nothing from the Reds. It's a little old Dec.1 so I'm sure the Cards are out.

I would too and then I would try and turn around and trade EE to SF for J. Sanchez, trade Juan Francisco and a C prospect(if this would do it) to Seattle for A. Beltre and sign Juan Rivera to a two year deal.

I think EE is worth more than Sanchez. EE was our 2nd best OPS last season.

If EE had a better glove I would agree with you.
