    1. Dating someone you work with...not a good idea.

    2. For every time you remain silent and wish you'd spoken up, there are 100 times you say something and wish you'd kept your pie hole shut. So when in doubt, zip it.

    3. On the other hand, the things you end up regretting most aren't the dumb things you did but the opportunities you didn't take advantage of.

    Word.

Also, everyone says, "My guy [doctor/mechanic/lawyer] is the best." Chances are, no he isn't.

    Continuing this theme:

It's more important to make it look like you are doing something than actually doing something...

I think Stewie Griffin put it best. "Women respond positively when you treat them like crap."

Another one from the dating side. When she says "It's not you, it's me." It's definitely you.

Bill your client with a PDF, that way they can't change the total due.

Re: I learned that the hard way

Here's a new category: I don't want to learn this the hard way so I'm asking first

The shelf life of Bailey's Irish Cream?

Their website claims pure taste for two years regardless if it's been refrigerated, just so long as it's been stored at a constant temperature (including room temp). They also claim it's ok to drink so long as it's not lumpy/chunky. They don't specify between opened/unopened bottles though.

Meanwhile, I've got an opened bottle (roughly two-thirds of a handle remaining) of the stuff sitting under the shelf that's five years old. I haven't touched it in probably four years. Most likely it's going down the drain since I'm not interested in getting sick, but I was just curious ...
