Well, if you look at his career I am not so sure this is correct. He started using the windup in 2011.

    2008: 4.81 ERA , 1.414 WHIP
    2009: 4.41 ERA, 1.36 WHIP
    2010: 3.64 ERA, 1.276 WHIP
    2011 (windup year): 2.31 ERA, 1.090 WHIP
    2012: 2.78 ERA, 1.171 WHIP
    2013: 3.21 ERA, 1.049 WHIP

There was a significant drop in his numbers across the board the year he began using the windup. It hides the ball well and keeps hitters off balance. Hopefully he does not need the windup to be as effective as he has been but I am not convinced that is the case. I will believe it when I see it.

Or he probably just got better because his first two years in the majors he was 22 and 23 and players tend to progress after that.

I wouldn't be surprised if DRob doesn't get a hit the rest of the season. Looks like the league has figured him out.

He also turned 25 in 2011, and he had a pretty good 2010 season as a 24 year old.

    Wind up or whatever.

I have little faith in the Reds winning tonight but, it would be nice to see A RUN.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Could be, but the one very game where it was noticed he started doing that is when he really started having an amazing year in 2011.

I totally think Phillips and Choo are going to OPS in the .500's and Votto is going to OPS in the low 800's like they have in June.

He shouldn't be here but who should replace him?
