    2013 Redleg Annual is out

The annual publication of Redleg Annual came out today. I mentioned elsewhere that my daughter did the cover illustration and I see Dougdirt has a review of the upcoming season for our minor league teams. Are there any other contributors from RZ in it? I think Joel Luckhaupt once had an ID here too.

I'm looking forward to reading. I downloaded the iBooks edition.

    It's at http://redlegannual.com/

I finally made it through the entire thing last night (I began reading it over the weekend as a tester, though I was more looking for images that didn't work, links that didn't work - things like that). There is a little bit in there for every kind of fan I think. I enjoyed the podcasts that were included as well.

I haven't checked the podcasts out yet, but I've liked the variety of it all. Your piece was good, as usual, and I'm looking forward to reading more. All in all, a good effort. I've already heard from a number of folks who bought and one of my cousins posted on Facebook about my daughter having illustrated the cover. He had just purchased and was surprised when he saw that. That was fun. Good work.

I wasn't a huge fan of my piece, but I had a word limit that I still went over by a decent amount. I had to keep it very short and to the point. That isn't my style.

I thought in this case, that worked for the article. Nice and succinct and covering a decent number of prospects. Certainly you'll extrapolate on these players and other throughout the season on your site.

I thought folks might find this of interest, an explanation of how my daughter's illustration came together for the cover. A fascinating look behind the scenes of the creative process.

    Wait, where is it?
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
