When all is said and done more is said than done.
This whole draft status argument cracks me up. I think it was Brady Quinn getting interviewed on Sportscenter that said it was crazy how his draft status seems to change hourly even though he isn't doing anything. It's like a stock market and any little whisper or doubt can have a 3 round effect on where a player goes.

Didn't Jason White have really, really bad knees? I seem to recall him hobbling off the field in pain in his later years. I think he tried out with a few NFL teams too, but the knees did him in.
So really, it looks like a Heisman winner being undrafted is a rarity...going after the first round is less of a rarity, but still appears to be well under 50%. I think Troy will get drafted, but not in the first round.
BTW, guys like Staubach (Navy) and Pete Dawkins (Army) probably had their draft status affected by the fact they still had a military obligation to fulfill.
