Cozart strikes out swinging, but well, 9-0. Can't crab about that.

I would like to hear FCB's thoughts on these first couple innings.

I think people need to be a little less judgmental. Athletes have emotions too and sometimes they vent them. Phillips is guilty of wearing his emotions on his sleeve but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Like I said, in this case, he overreacted but frankly people are tired of thinking this team doesn't care... well guess what? Phillips is proving he does.
Calling someone a "fat m-fer" is classless.

But I guess it's ok because he's a baseball player.

On a side note, the Cards should be ashamed for their play tonight. It's damn pathetic. They go from a team that looks legit to a team that looks like it belongs in AAA over a 24 hour period. It amazes me how often they wet the bed when Yadi isn't in the lineup.

    Settle down, francis.

Waino just didn't have squat tonight. It didn't help that he threw about 130 pitches in his last start.

While I agree that Johnson is a turd, I don't think even Yadi would have made much of a difference.

Man, even when the Reds are finally laying wood to this team, we still get some prime Cardsplaining in the game thread.

Pythag split this series. Looking good now.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

The Reds broke gameday for me by the way. It stuck after Votto walked.

I'd feel more comfortable if the Reds could double their lead.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yadi calls probably the best game in baseball and I have no confidence in Rob "lets have Rosenthal throw 20000 straight fastballs" Johnson's ability to call a game behind the plate. I know at least Yadi could have blocked that wild pitch. The Cardinals just do not look like the same team when he isn't starting behind the plate. The record and all statistical evidence shows that.

I missed it, who did he call that?
