Stubbs being in there really makes you pause when it comes to what to believe about these rumors. I have to believe if he was about to be dealt imminently he wouldn't be in the lineup.

If we win today Homer gets to shave Marty's head.

I am not a vocal Dusty basher, but I can't see how you justify not starting Ludwick against Sanchez today. Ludwick is a monster at Coors Field and could potentially feast off the lefty.

I'd have an outfield of Luddy (LF), Stubbs (CF), and Heisey (RF) today and let Bruce sit vs. the left-handed starter.

I don't mind giving Cairo the playing time since we know Rolen needs more days off than others. But Rolen is seeing the ball so well right now ... tough to see a lineup that has both Luddy and Rolen sitting today against a left-handed pitcher with an ERA above 8.

Bruce and Stubbs don't sit.....Ludwick sits most every time he has a big game.

This was likely a scheduled start for Heisey.....Luddy is not to the stature of Bruce or Stubbs.

    And that is frustrating.

In the past 7 games, Ludwick has gone 11 for 26 with 3 HRs, 3 doubles, 7 RBIs and has scored 7 runs. In that time, his average has shot up from .232 to .252, and his OPS has risen from .794 to .850.

But yeah. Let's sit him. At Coors Field. Against a lefty who sucks.

(In that same span, Bruce has gone 5-23 with 1 double, 0 HRs, 3 RBIs, and has scored twice.)

Whatever happened to going with the hot hand?

Luddy>Bruce right now. Luddy should be playing. I love Bruce but you have to earn your keep. Lol, maybe Bruce is the one getting traded today.

That's really really big of Marty. Impressive gesture. He has a monster head of hair and would look absolutely ridiculous.

    Props to the HOFer
