Pitchers looked good. Props to Hanigan too. So underrated.

The loss isn't a big deal, but the injury potentially could be. It could very well take away most of the good they did in the offseason by adding Choo.

Now they really don't have anyone for that 4th spot in the order.

This team is too good to suck. It's always disappointing to lose opening day, but I remember a lot of losses on day1 of the season. It had no effect on the rest of the season. Just hate the custom of skipping a day before the next game, although this time it might work out better. They played a game and a half today.

They should be well-rested. They certainly didn't tire themselves out from running the bases.

Johnny Cueto looked sharp. Nice to see.

I find myself wondering with the additional coach allowed in the dugout this year, why not have it be a sports psychiatrist/psychologist? Semi-serious, as I can't see what 1 additional "normal coach" brings to the table.

I agree, didn't really cost the Reds the game but he was awful behind the plate.

One of many, but I turned away after the final strike of the game thinking it was a ball...10 sec later I look up and it's all over.

Now now, it's only one game. I admit my patience with Bruce is wearing quite thin, but I'm trying to stay positive overall about the team. We do have to take into consideration they are coming from warm Arizona to chilly Cincinnati, for one possible take on the situation. The pitchers looked good, offense sucked canal water, but it will come around. they're too good not to.

Ludwick is going to be a big hit, but I think we have enough to muddle through without too much damage.

Reds fans on Twitter are already freaking out with there "#FireDusty" and "trade Choo" and "send Hoover to single-A". i could've sworn we just played the 1st game of a 162 game season...

I'm shocked you haven't figured out that most Reds fans on twitter are idiots.

Well pitched game both ways, but when you get the kinda pitching we got today it sucks to lose. On the bright side Choo looked good.
