Six big outs to go, meat of the Braves lineup
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

We will need one. At this point if we made the playoffs with this roster I'm afraid it would be a lot like the 2010 playoffs.

There's no doubt we're going to need one. At the very least we will need a LFer or 3rd baseman if not both. And we could use a lefty off the bench.

The good news though is that right now there's no real dominate NL team (I'm not convinced the Dodgers will keep up their current pace).
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Lots of struggling bats right now. Things turn around and that need won't look so needy.

I also think we'll end up running away and hiding from the Central.

I'd rather need a bat or two than an arm or two. Much easier to go find useful spare bats at deadline.

Team with a .300 OBP at minimum will need one or two on base guys. I think they are ok in the power department, but this whole Ludwick, Frazier, Heisey, Stubbs, Rolen, Cairo brigade could use OBP guys.

He said at the deadline. That's quite a ways away. Right now, I'd agree with you.

Seriously? Bourn has 2 HRs and double tonight?

    I call shenanigans.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

    Bourn's first career multi-HR game.

I remember when the Reds were going after Bourn last year and redszone didn't want him. Oops.
